Process and procedures for licensing border-gate transfer business
Procedure for applying for a transshipment business license:
Step 1: Submit application
Traders send 1 set of documents directly or by post or online (if applicable) to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Step 2: Receive and check documents
In case the dossier is not complete and in accordance with regulations, within 3 working days from the date of receiving the trader's dossier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade shall send a document requesting the trader to complete the dossier.
Step 3: Issue a license to transfer goods
Within 5 days (from the date of receipt of complete and prescribed documents), the Ministry of Industry and Trade shall issue a License to the trader. In case the License is not granted, the Ministry of Industry and Trade shall respond in writing and clearly state the reason.
In case of supplementing or amending the License; Reissue due to lost or misplaced License, the trader sends a written request and related documents to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Within 3 working days from the date of receipt of complete and prescribed documents, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will consider adjusting and re-issuing the License to the trader.
