What are prohibited goods?
Prohibited goods are goods that are prohibited from production, transportation, consumption and trade according to the list of regulations of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Specifically, in Clause 6, Article 3 of Decree 185/2013/ND-CP, banned goods are items that are banned from business, production, circulation, and use in Vietnam.
What are the banned and banned goods?
In Vietnam, according to Decree 19/2014 and Decree 187/2013, the following goods are on the list of banned goods:
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives
- Technical equipment, weapons, specialized vehicles for military, police, and military equipment
- Narcotics.
- Toxic chemicals according to international conventions that Vietnam participates in.
- Smuggled cigarettes, cigars and other forms of finished tobacco products.
- Fireworks of all kinds
- Wild plants and animals, including live animals and their parts, are processed under the list of international treaties to which Vietnam is a member.
- Radio equipment and radio wave application equipment do not comply with radio frequency plans
- Cultural products banned from dissemination and circulation in Vietnam.
- Right-hand drive vehicle
- Types of cars and car assembly parts have been erased, edited, and the frame and engine numbers re-engraved.
- Seafood exploitation is prohibited, and seafood has toxic residues exceeding the allowable limit.
- Fertilizers that are not on the list are allowed to be produced, traded and used in Vietnam.
- Used supplies and vehicles.
- Plant varieties cause harm to production, human health, the environment and the ecosystem.
- Animal breeds are harmful to human health, animal genetic resources, the environment, and the ecosystem; Special, toxic minerals.
- Used consumer goods
- Types of publications banned from dissemination and circulation in Vietnam. Postage stamps are banned from trading, exchange, display and propaganda according to the provisions of the Postal Law.
